Simon J Green is a natural leader with the rare ability to build and manage creative teams. He’s an arts entrepreneur and disability advocate who has founded and run six companies since 2007. In 2019 he won the National Disability Leadership Award for Innovation for his work creating the YDAS emerging young leaders program. His business highlights include selling a TV series to a US broadcaster with an audience of 30 million; building a production company to six staff and servicing clients including Hewlett Packard, ANZ, Nintendo, Network Ten, Lifestyle, L'Oreal and Arts Centre Melbourne; and getting sell out nights for his first theatre show with a whopping 74% seating fill across the run. Simon is also a communications consultant with a design thinking background, and a writer representing the underrepresented in theatre, film, virtual reality and books. He has the rare genetic disease cystic fibrosis.
Simon holds a Bachelor of Contemporary Arts in Screen Studies from Deakin University and an Advanced Diploma of Screen in Film and TV from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
